Hiya, I’m Chloe – the whisk-wielding human behind Treat Tribe. What started as me messing about in the kitchen with a bit too much butter and not enough patience has somehow turned into this full-blown cake-slinging adventure, and I’m not mad about it.
Based in Milton Keynes (yes, we do more than just roundabouts), Treat Tribe is all about turning simple ingredients into something that connects people. It’s my way of blending my Ashanti heritage with my love of baking. Being part of a tribe means community, creativity, and bringing joy – and that’s exactly what I pour into every cake I make. Whether it’s a wedding or a birthday bash with too much rum punch and questionable dance moves, your cake should feel as special as the day itself.
What really matters to me is the connection. I like people (mostly), and I’m genuinely interested in what makes you, well, you. Cake isn’t just a treat – it’s part of the celebration. It’s the moment people remember at a wedding, the thing that turns your 30th (or 50th… or 80th) into something memorable.
Every cake I make comes with care, a touch of sass, and usually a bit of Ghanaian hi-life playing in the background. Think Daddy Lumba, Kojo Antwi, Amakye Dede – or if I’m feeling nostalgic, a rerun of Big Bang Theory, Friends, or Grey’s Anatomy. It’s organised chaos in the kitchen, but it works.
And we move, we bake. Whether it’s a hen party with icing on the walls, a Christmas party that’s all about the fun, or a chill afternoon with the girls, I run decorating classes that are all about you. Forget the stiff aprons and stressful techniques – we’re here to have fun, share some laughs, and create something you’ll be proud to show off.
